Studies in the film class with Prof. Helmut Herbst at the
University of Art and Design in Offenbach. Seminars with
Carlos Bustamante, Urs Breitenstein and Herbert Heckmann.
Workshops with Elfi Mikesch, Jan Schütte and Tevfik Baser.
Filmmaker, media artist, apparatus builder, cameraman and animator.
Since 1994, teaching animation film, experimental film,
and media installation at various universities and
institutes, as well as consulting and executing artistic
media projects.
Since 2019 developer, designer,
and programmer in the research projects ERC Proof of Concept
VeCoScan and SNF Bridge Discovery Scan2Screen at the
Department of Film Studies at the University of Zürich
(Prof. Dr. Barbara Flückiger).
Since 2024
Co-founder, hardware and software designer at the startup Scan2Screen
Switzerland GmbH. Development of a scientifically based
multispectral film scanner and workflow.
